DensePod is the planned name for a unit that brings compute, power distribution, thermal management, physical security, and observability into a deliberate boundary. The final form depends on a real site and workload; no enclosure, power rating, cooling method, price, or delivery schedule is set.

Site-dependent by design

An indoor cabinet or contained row, a room retrofit, a prefab enclosure, or another modular boundary may fit. None is selected as the shipping form.

Non-goal

No all-purpose appliance

DensePod is not a casual edge gateway, a claim to manufacture every component, or a substitute for licensed site engineering and local approvals.

Inputs that would shape a real design

Workload and ownership
Compute class, data constraints, growth expectation, service owner, and consequences of interruption.
Power and site
Available capacity, service topology, environment, space, access, noise, heat-rejection options, and authority having jurisdiction.
Operating model
Who monitors, maintains, approves changes, holds spares, and accepts the commissioned system.
